The Lord is Mighty to Save

“But Moses said to the people, “Fear not! Stand firm! And see the salvation of the Lord, which He will show you today. For the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall never see again. The Lord shall fight for you, while you hold your peace.”⁣

Then the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them, and the pillar of the cloud moved before them and stood behind them.” Exodus 14:13-14, 19⁣

Lord, when You rescued the people of Israel out of Egypt, they were confronted with the Red Sea on one side and the Egyptians on the other. It seemed to Your people as if the enemy was closing in on them and there was no way out but Your Servant Moses told them to “Fear not. Stand firm and see the salvation of the Lord”. Not only did You part the Red Sea, but You also made it so that the ground of the sea was completely dry while crossing over. The Angel of the LORD went before them and behind them which did not allow the enemy to reach them. Though the enemy continued in pursuit, Your people crossed to the other side and got to witness the enemy be destroyed before them. In the midst of an impossible situation, You made a way. You remained faithful. They just needed to trust and obey You. You, God, showed Yourself mighty and moved on their behalf. There is no one like You. Lord, just as You made a way for Moses and the people of Israel in what seemed naturally impossible, I ask that You make a way for those of us who need a breakthrough in what seems to be a “Red Sea” circumstance. We will see Your salvation, we need only to stand firm and You will fight for us. Help us to remain steadfast in You and wait to see the salvation You have promised to those who take a position to fear not (the circumstance) stand firm (in the face of adversity). God, we will stand firm while You fight for us. Thank You, Lord!
