***** This post is for those who have questions about Who Jesus is*****
I have to share something that has been heavy on my spirit for some time. My being honest has caused many to stop speaking to me in the past and as a result, I became very silent and stopped speaking God’s Word for fear of offending people. However; when the day comes that I stand before God, I will give account for what I did, said and for what He gave me to do on this earth. It is God I must obey when asked by Him to speak the truth of His Word because souls depend on it. So, in obedience I share the following:
There has always been so much speculation about Who Jesus is. Some say Jesus was a prophet, others say He was a teacher, some say he was a brother to the Archangel Michael and others believe he was the brother of Satan and the list goes on. I am here to clarify exactly Who Jesus is. I will provide scripture reference because Christians (Christ Followers) believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16).
Jesus is the Word of God made flesh and He was sent by the Father to dwell among men (John 1:14). He was sent on assignment by the Father to die for the sins of mankind (Romans 4:25). He was not simply a prophet like the prophets of old. He was and is the Son of God and He is part of the Godhead (Isaiah 9:6, John 10:30, Luke 1:35, Matthew 28:19 to name a few).
He is equally God with the Father and the Holy Spirit and when all things were created in Genesis (Genesis 1 &2) He was there. He was present. Jesus said in John 8:58-59 “Before Abraham was, I Am!” The Jews wanted to kill Him because they believed He claimed to be God.
The Bible says that he who believes in Him (Jesus) will not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
Those who believe that Jesus is God do so by faith. The Word of God also says that without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). We have the free will to choose what to believe and no one can ever force us to believe anything.
Either we believe Who God says His Son is or we do not but if we deny the Son, the Bible says we do not have the Father (1 John 2:23). We cannot have the Father without His Son, we cannot have the Son without His Holy Spirit. They are indefinitely and infinitely One.
The Bible tells us to beware of false teachers (1 Timothy 4). There are so many false teachings out there sharing myths, legends and endless false religions. False doctrine is anything that will lead us away from the Word of Truth that is in Christ Jesus.
The Truth is that there is a God in heaven Who sent His Son to die for the sins of mankind and upon accepting the Son, the Spirit or God comes to live inside them.
I believe in God not because of what people have told me. I believe in God because He has revealed Himself to me through His Son Jesus Christ by His Holy Spirit. My encounter was my own. I pray that each person reading this will encounter for themselves the One true living God.
People die daily in other countries for believing in Jesus. He is the most controversial Person in all of history. He is the only One from all religions that died and rose again on the third day. His story is truth and it is not a myth and Jesus remains to be the ONLY name which demons tremble at. Try calling out on other gods in front of demons and see if they flee. JESUS makes the kingdom of darkness tremble because He is alive, He is King, and He is God.
There is a daily battle in the spirit realm (in the unseen). The battle is between good and evil. Between heaven and hell and it is for your soul. I pray you seek out the truth of Who Jesus is because He loves you and He alone can save.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6
