Jesus Is…Healer

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah ‭53:5‬

In Exodus 15:26, God is identified as Jehovah Rophe, “The God Who heals us”. Sickness and disease entered this world through sin. It is not God’s desire that His people live with sickness and disease. The key is faith. We must have faith that He is able to heal. It’s knowing in your spirit that contrary to the doctors report, He can heal you. During Jesus’s ministry we see where He healed the lame, blind, leper; all those who were sick and came to Him and He did so according to their faith. If He did it before, He can do it again. The Word also says He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3).

Father, I thank You because You are Jehovah Rophe, the God that heals. You do so according to our faith, for Your glory. I pray for healing of the mind, hearts, body, soul and spirit of those in need. Lord, Your Word says that whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever we loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. I bind the spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus and come against all sickness in Jesus name. Mental sickness such as depression and suicide, sickness of the body, even the broken hearted. Transform hardened hearts. Remove hearts of stone and give them hearts of flesh. I loose healing in the mighty name of Jesus upon each person in Jesus name. Father, I ask in faith that You to heal them for Your glory that they may testify that You are indeed the God that heals. Give them peace while they see Your healing come to pass and increase their faith to believe it is done according to Your Word. Not my will, but Your perfect will be done in Jesus name, Amen.
