Jesus Is…The True Vine

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that bears no fruit, He takes away. And every branch that bears fruit, He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean through the word which I have spoken to you. Remain in Me, as I also remain in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, neither can you, unless you remain in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who remains in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit. For without Me you can do nothing. If a man does not remain in Me, he is thrown out as a branch and withers. And they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it shall be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.” John‬ ‭15:1-8‬

Father, I come before You in the name of Jesus; thanking You for being the True Vine. Thank You because when we stay connected to You, we bear fruit in our lives. Evidence of our relationship with You becomes visible by our words and actions. For those that don’t know what it means to abide in You, I pray that Your Holy Spirit will give them a revelation of what that means so that they may begin to abide You, that You may abide in them in return. Keep us connected to You, never ever separating ourselves from You, Your Spirit or the Father in heaven. Thank You, Lord for abiding in us who abide in You and for helping those that don’t know how, learn to do so. Help us to walk in Your Holy commandments daily because of our love for You. In all things, not my will but Yours be done. In Jesus name, Amen.
