Jesus Is…..The ROCK of Salvation

“He shall cry unto Me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.'”  Psalm 89:26

In the last few days, I’ve really been thinking about what my life was like before I encountered Jesus. Man, I was lost. I just didn’t realize it at the time. Fast Forward almost five years later and I cannot begin to imagine my life without Jesus. Where would I be? What would life look like? I was dead in my sin. I was in a pit that no one was able to pull me out of and it wasn’t until I hit a low point in my life that I realized I needed (I mean REALLY needed Jesus). No more playing on the fence, no more one foot in and one foot out, no more playing games with God. I couldn’t make it without Jesus. He needed to be my foundation. Today, I can say with certainty that come what may; I am grounded on the Rock of Salvation.

Sometimes we need to hit rock-bottom to encounter the ROCK of Salvation.

If right now you can honestly admit that your life is on a downward spiral that is getting out of control, or that the ground underneath you isn’t steady because your present and future feel uncertain, chances are you need an encounter with Jesus; The ROCK of Salvation. If that is you, I’d like to pray for you. Feel free to message me privately if you need prayer or if you are already grounded in Jesus, please join me in praying for those that need to encounter Him today as the Rock of Salvation.

Heavenly Father, I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus. Thanking You for being the Rock of my Salvation. For showing me that life without You was desolate and was leading to my demise. I thank You now for Your love that is unending and never fails. I thank You because even when we unknowingly reject You, You pursue us, You are patient with us and You never give up on us. I now present to You each individual reading this that has either not yet encountered You as the Rock of Salvation or needs to get back to relying solely on You as their Rock. Lord, You say in Your Word that whatever things we ask when we pray, to believe that we will receive them, and we will have them. I’m asking in the name of Jesus for those who do not know You as the Rock of Salvation, that they would encounter You tonight. Lord, sometimes we need to hit rock bottom in order to meet with You, should that be the case, then let it be so according to Your perfect will because only You can work all things together for our good. You also promise in Your Word that Your plans for us are not to harm us but to give us hope and a future. May chains be broken and lives be set free in Jesus name. I pray that all distraction be removed in the mighty name of Jesus. As the scales were removed from the eyes of Paul, let it be so with each person in need of an encounter with You, Jesus. Father, open eyes so their eyes may be fixed on You and You alone. Remove everything from their path that keeps them from getting to know You. Remove everything that keeps them bound in chains by sin. Holy Spirit, permeate the depths of their beings and bring healing to hearts, restoration to lives and deliverance to souls. I thank You now for what You will begin to do in their lives and I thank You now for salvation and for restoration for each person in need of it. Father, in all things, let not my will but Yours be done, in the might name of Jesus. Amen.
