Train up a child in the way he should go [and in keeping with his individual gift or bent], and when he is old he will not depart from it. [Eph. 6:4; II Tim. 3:15.] Proverbs 22:6 AMP
To those who lead by example (biological dad or not) setting the standard of the kind of man your son should be or showing your little girl how valuable she is; to those who provide; who guide; who have set the standard high; causing your son to want to be like you one day; and your daughter to want a man to respect her and love her because that’s how you treated her; for teaching your children to never give up; for always being there beginning with supporting their smallest accomplishments to their greatest victories; to those who have not had the natural example of what a good father is but learned through trials, mistakes, by purposing to be better than the father you had; to those who were fatherless but let the Heavenly Father lead your every step; I commend you and I want to wish you a Happy Father’s Day!
You were chosen to lead your house; lead your children and do so in a way that honors the Lord. May you always seek Him who blessed you with your little (or not so little) ones, seek His face; His kingdom; His righteousness.
The greatest example of a father is the one Who sacrificed His Son so that we could have relationship with Him. May you lead your children by letting Him lead you.
They’re watching and they’re expecting the best you have to give of yourself not knowing the sacrifices. Let them see God’s live in your eyes and may you continue to lead in a way that honors the Lord. After all, He chose YOU to lead your children.
God bless you!
