The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood, And the LORD sits as King forever. The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace. (Psalms 29:10-11 NKJV)
In light of these last days were living (only God knows how much longer we have), this scripture ministered to me.
Yes, there is a lot going on all over the news. Christians being persecuted for their faith, Islam taking over, terrorism reaching the states, murders, suicides, and the list goes on BUT in the midst of that, I read this and I’m reminded that God isn’t shaken by the events going on. He wasn’t shaken by the flood during the days of Noah. In fact, He told Noah to built the ark because a flood was coming.
So in obedience, no matter how “crazy” Noah appeared to the world, even I’m sure some “believers”, he was obedient to the God Most High.
The flood came, God was still in the throne. Persecution is taking place more openly today, God is still in the throne. Innocent blood continues to be shed, God is still on the throne and when all hell breaks loose on this earth in the time to come, God will continue to be on the throne. Hallelujah!
Your storm, trials, the mocking of your faith because you choose to walk in obedience to the Lord isn’t going unnoticed in the eyes of the Lord. He honors your obedience and guess what? He is still in the throne and He will be forever more!!! Glory to God in the highest!
The flood won’t last forever and neither will the events going on all over the world.
Rejoice in your salvation and continue to seek the Lord with fear and trembling because the day of the Lord is at hand. And guess what?
HE WILL ALWAYS BE ON THE THRONE!
